When the Dixie Fire swept through California in July 2021, many of the existing culverts and storm sewer systems were destroyed. HEL-COR®corrugated metal pipe (CMP) was selected as the best replacement option because it was the only product that performed well during the fire. Other materials either melted or burned or were too heavy to be transported to the remote locations.
If you were born before the 90s, then you probably remember the Y2K Problem. The world was fast approaching the year 2000, and up until then, computers were saving precious memory space by only recording the last two digits of the year. The year 1999 was logged on a computer as 99. As the New Year approached, we all wondered: would the computers think 00 is actually 2000 or go back to 1900.
